When to Use Slippery Elm

When to Use Slippery Elm

For Maintaining Gastric Function

Slippery Elm helps keep the GI tract soothed and moving comfortably by coating and calming irritated tissue.

For Loose Stool

Its gel-like mucilage helps firm stool by giving the bowel time to reabsorb water.

For Constipation

The same mucilage softens stool and supports smoother passage when things slow down.

For Occasional Upset

Helps settle the stomach when something simply didn’t agree with them.

For Megaesophagus & Reflux

Given before meals, it coats the throat and esophagus to support smoother swallowing and reduce irritation from stomach acid.

Just One Ingredient

Ingredients: Ground Organic Slippery Elm Bark

Ground Organic Slippery Elm Bark

Slippery Elm comes from the inner bark of the elm tree and becomes a soothing gel when mixed with water. This mucilage coats the stomach, intestines, and esophagus to support loose stool, constipation, reflux, megaesophagus, and general digestive discomfort. It’s gentle, well tolerated, and safe for both dogs and cats.

Slippery Elm

vs The Rest

A lot of digestive products are built around pumpkin, probiotics, or stool-focused ingredients. Slippery Elm works differently. Once mixed with water, it forms a soothing gel that coats irritated tissue from the throat through the digestive tract, which is why it can help when the issue is reflux, loose stool, constipation, or general digestive irritation. Sometimes the smartest digestive support is also the simplest: one herb, broad usefulness, and no unnecessary extras.

Supports everyday digestive comfort

Forms a soothing protective gel (mucilage)

Helps upper + lower GI irritation

Useful for reflux, loose stool, or constipation

Single-herb digestive support

Vet Formulated & Owned
