How to Feed

Scoop the proper portions of Pure Krill found below into the bowl daily. You can add it right to the top of every meal. The key is consistency, so feed it twice daily, every day per the instructions.
To feed it as a treat, scoop the proper dosage into an ice cube tray, add water or broth, and freeze. Give twice a day.
After every use, push the air out of the bag, tie it up, and put the lid on tight to avoid any oxidation. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Will this go bad?

Pure Krill has a 2-year shelf life from the moment we package it. That long shelf life is because the powerful antioxidant, astaxanthin, stabilizes the Omega-3 fatty acids, keeping them from going rancid when it meets oxygen. As potent as astaxanthin is, oxidation is inevitable. So, to ensure you’re getting every benefit krill offers, we strongly recommend you use an open container within a month of opening.

What form of krill is this?

Pure Krill is a finely ground powder made from whole krill bodies left after the oil is pressed out. Using the whole krill is far more sustainable than traditional krill oil, which discards the rest of the organism. Pure Krill allows us to utilize the entire krill and reduce waste.

Does it have a scent?

Yes — a naturally fishy aroma. Carnivores absolutely love it.

Can I add this while cooking?

No. Omega-3 fatty acids are heat-sensitive and degrade with heat, so add Pure Krill after cooking or directly to raw, freeze-dried, or kibble meals.

Does Pure Krill normally come in a baggie inside the container?

Yes! Astaxanthin is such a strong antioxidant that it can pull oxygen from the container, causing it to dent inward. The bag prevents that and keeps the product protected. Neat, right?
